Bank import
Read in a bank statement as CAMT.053 XML or CSV and book or ignore the lines.
Instead of typing in every transfer by hand, you can import your bank's statement directly. SinfoniaOne reads in the individual lines, and you decide for each line whether and how it gets booked.
Which files work?
The bank import understands two formats that you can download from almost any bank:
- CAMT.053 – an XML file, the banks' standardized statement format.
- CSV – a simple spreadsheet file with the transactions.
Where do I get this file?
You download the file from your club's online banking – usually under "Export transactions" or "Bank statement". It doesn't matter which of the two formats you choose; take the one your bank offers.
Import and assign a statement
Upload the file
In the cashbook, open the Bank import area and upload your CAMT.053 XML or CSV file. SinfoniaOne then shows you all lines of the statement.

Assign a line to a category
Go through the lines and pick a suitable category for each one (just like when booking). Based on the amount and the reference from the statement, you can usually tell quickly what it's about.
Book or ignore
For each line you have two options:
- Book – the line becomes a real transaction in the journal.
- Ignore – the line is skipped, for example if it was already entered by hand or doesn't concern the club.
Assign every line deliberately
The bank import makes no automatic category suggestion – you decide for each line yourself. That takes a little longer, but it ensures that every transaction is really sorted correctly.
