Pictures
Your club's chronicle – create photo albums, upload pictures and keep an eye on your storage.
Pictures holds your club's chronicle: the photos from the summer festival, the anniversary concert, the trip to South Tyrol. You create one album per occasion and upload the pictures into it – they then sit in one place everyone can find again, instead of on three different people's hard drives.
Your original stays your original
Whatever you upload is stored unchanged. We do not scale it down and we do not crop anything – the file stays exactly as it came out of your camera.
In addition, two smaller versions are created in the background: one for the overview, one for the full-screen view. That is why an album still loads quickly with three hundred pictures, without you giving up any quality.
iPhone photos too
Pictures in the HEIC format, as an iPhone takes them, are accepted without any conversion on your side.
Who can do what?
The default is deliberately narrow, because club photos show people:
- Board and administrator – may do everything: create albums, upload photos, rename and delete them.
- All other roles – do not see the area at all, not even read-only.
Should more than the board take part?
That can be changed. In the role editor an administrator can grant the photo album rights to other roles as well – for example the secretary who keeps the chronicle.
Storage is limited
Photos need space, and how much is available to you depends on the feature you have booked. As soon as it gets tight, you will see above the album list how much is already used.
Once the space is used up, the app accepts no new pictures. Everything already there stays reachable unchanged – a photo is never deleted because space is running short.
