What changed.

• Which parts are missing: In a piece, a new “Parts” card shows which part has a sheet and which does not — grouped by section, with a counter and a switch to the open ones. Sheets that hang on no part at all are reported separately; they do sit in the archive, but they make it into no printout.
• Scanning sheet music in stages: A batch now stays with your club as a draft. You can carry on later, switch devices or work on it with two people without losing where you were. On top of that the paper size is measured instead of assumed, opened books are split into two pages before reading, and skewed or pale scans are straightened and brightened on request.
• More accurate recognition: Matching pages to parts has been sharpened on real scans, and the title and details of the piece now come along reliably. Close calls land with you for review instead of quietly hanging on the wrong part.
• Creating parts: The field is now called “Name” instead of “Instrument” — what you enter is what the part is called in the score: “1st Clarinet”, “Bass Trombone”. Suggestions to tap sit below it, starting with the spellings your club already uses. The key gets the same help.
• Large printouts: Exporting across all parts often ended in an error message. Large bundles are now built in the background and made ready to download; small ones go through immediately as before.
• Performance badges: Junior, bronze, silver and gold can be recorded on a member — with instrument, year and grade — and appear in a list of their own for the club. Shown in Austrian music clubs.
• A search field in long option lists: Wherever more than a handful is on offer — parts, accounts, categories, permissions — you can now type instead of scroll. The search forgives missing umlauts and the order of the words: “flugelhorn” and “trumpet 2” find their entry.
• Subscribing to the calendar: Instead of downloading a file that never catches up, the app now asks where the subscription should go — into the calendar app on your device, into Google Calendar, or as a link to copy. The share button puts the link on the clipboard in the browser.
• Member count in your plan: What counts now are active member cards rather than user accounts — you pay for the club, not for how many people use the app. Former and paused members take up no space, and inviting someone who already has a card costs nothing. A club with more active members than accounts may therefore sit above its limit: what exists stays untouched, but new members then need a larger plan.
• A data space of your own: Files and sensitive fields now sit encrypted in an area that belongs to your club alone. If a club leaves, its key is destroyed once the period is over — which puts its data beyond reach in every backup as well.
• Fixed: Emails no longer carry a foreign address in the subject, they show the colours of the app they come from, and the button inside them names it properly again.

• Several entries at once: In the lists you can now select several entries and edit or delete them together — members, sheet music, appointments, tasks, bookings and much more. Tap “Select” once, after that a single tap per row is enough.
• Birthday calendar: A new view in the member register shows who has a birthday and when — ordered by month, together with the age they turn.
• Older minutes in the archive: Minutes from the time before can be uploaded as a PDF. They sit in the same list as the new ones and can be found through the search.
• Cash book: The bank import now shows which lines are still open, and an import can be deleted again. New as well: a bank line can be split across several bookings — a collective transfer belonging to two categories, for instance.
• Patrons: The list now shows the honour awarded most recently. New honours can be created again; lately that did not work.
• Forms: A date can be typed, the calendar only opens when you want it. Files can be dragged into the field anywhere. And if a category is missing, you create it right in the picker without leaving the screen.
• Plans: The selection now shows only where the plans differ instead of repeating every line.
• Signing in: In the browser, signing in with Google and Apple now stays in the same tab — until now you ended up in a second window and were signed in there instead of the one you were working in. Signing in with GitHub is discontinued.
• One account for two apps: Alongside SinfoniaOne there is now Vereinskastl, for clubs without a sheet music archive. If you are at home in both, you sign in everywhere with the same account.
• Fixed: Notices no longer disappear when you move to another page, an account without a club finds its way back, and locked features are now closed for reading too instead of half visible.

More room on the phone — and a lot that used to snag no longer does.

• One bar instead of five layers: Before the first row of a list there used to be the wordmark, a breadcrumb, a large title, a row of its own for the action buttons, the filter row and the card header, one above the other — with the title showing three times. Now a single bar carries everything: back, title, main action, “⋯” and, on lists, the magnifier. On a phone that leaves about a third more of the screen for the content. From tablet width everything stays as before.
• Searching: The magnifier searches the list that is currently open; the app-wide quick search is dropped in return. The search field only opens when you tap it — open, it covers the title and the back button. A chip in the filter row shows that something is being searched or filtered, and a list filtered down to nothing now offers a way out of the filter instead of “create new”.
• Filters are remembered: Filter, search and sorting of the big lists — members, sheet music, appointments, tasks, uniforms, festivals, cash book — survive the trip into a detail page and back, for one session. An app restart, switching club and signing out discard them again. The counter on the filter button now counts every active filter, and the area opens when you enter if something is set.
• List rows: Club and subgroup no longer cost a line of their own — they stand at the front of the info line below the title, together with place and type. The club name is shortened to its distinguishing part (“Musikverein Musterdorf” becomes “Musterdorf”); if two clubs would end up with the same name, both keep the full one.
• Members: Linking an account to a member record no longer asks for internal numbers but shows a searchable field with names and e-mail; accounts already taken are listed with their record beside them. New is “remove from the club”: access ends, the record stays — years of joining and leaving, functions and honours are club history. Deleting a record now also ends the access; until now somebody who had left still saw appointments, sheet music and tasks. Accounts without a member record sit at the end of the register, marked “without a record”. And the detail page comes in six areas instead of twelve equal cards.
• Printing and exporting: The full score can be left out of an ensemble export — it is part of almost every ensemble, but it does not belong in the musicians’ folders. The switch applies to the export only, the ensemble itself stays untouched. The lyrics part is now called that instead of “vocals” and can either be attached to every part or treated as a part of its own.
• Checking an AI upload: In the zoom view the part search now sits fixed in the part bar instead of in a window that covered exactly the sheet in question. It is empty on every sheet: type, Enter takes the first hit, move on.
• Uploading sheet music: Large batches and entire archives go through reliably again, even well beyond 100 MB. In the browser the wrong file was sometimes transferred, and the AI-assisted upload stopped with an error before processing even began — both fixed. Parts that differ only in their suffix now result in two separate sheets: “1st trombone in Bb” and “1st trombone in C” no longer overwrite each other.
• Notifications: Uniform notices and the honours outlook can finally be switched off — the outlook used to go out unfiltered, the uniform notices were simply missing from the list in the app. On top of that, all e-mail switches showed “off” while loading although e-mail was switched on.
• Honours: Notices can be dismissed without having to create an honour for it. Long names from the association catalogue are no longer cut off in the selection — three medals previously differed only in the part that was cut away.
• Also fixed: For an appointment that has already started no reminder is sent any more, and anything long overdue is no longer sent late. A second tap on “Members” leads back to the register instead of staying on the member last opened. In the browser lists refresh again when you switch back to the tab, and after an update the browser no longer runs for hours on the old version. Names that differ only in upper and lower case now count as the same entry.
• Behind the scenes: SinfoniaOne runs on a new server environment — nothing changes for you, except that problems will be noticed faster. On top of that, all open security notices for the building blocks in use have been closed.

The biggest update so far — new features in almost every area.

• Seeing sheet music: From now on every member sees the parts they play themselves — the music of the instruments recorded as currently played in their member record. Conductors, music archivists and the board still see everything, section leaders additionally see the parts of their sections. For exceptions such as a stand-in trombonist there is an individual release on the member, optionally for single parts only. Titles and programmes stay visible to everyone: what is protected is the music, not the schedule.
• Repertoire: Every performance is recorded. From that come analyses — what was played most recently, what has been sitting untouched, which pieces came up most often — and a printable work list for reporting to the collecting society.
• Pieces: Publisher, purchase date, purchase price, source and order number now belong to the piece, plus “solo for …” with the part named. The AI import picks these details up as well. Lyrics hang on a perfectly normal part called Vocals and end up in the printout automatically behind every other part.
• Listening to a programme: New is the “Listen” screen on the setlist — the pieces in playing order, the stored recording for each piece, with a jump to the previous and next piece. Entirely without sheet music and without choosing a part.
• Following along: Whoever leads a rehearsal can take the other devices along — when the piece changes, they open the same title. Joining in is voluntary, and any page turn of your own ends it again.
• Notes in the music: Your own colours, an eraser that can be undone, and shared announcements. A shared note appears on the other devices in a paler shade below their own; only whoever wrote it can change it.
• Setlists: Pieces can be added in batches — tick as many as you need, confirm once — and sorted alphabetically in one go. Duplicating takes over all pieces in the same order. For the march book you can specify per piece that it starts on a double page.
• Printing and exporting: The preview has new switches for your own notes, announcements, double pages and numbering. The number sits in bold in the outer top corner just like in the march book, and multi-page pieces are laid out as a spread — so nobody has to turn a page mid-piece on the march.
• Honours: A catalogue with the awards of your own regional brass music association is included — for all nine federal provinces and the Austrian Brass Music Association, separated into musicians and patrons. Years of service are calculated from the actual periods, and the outlook reports who would be due soon.
• Members: Any number of instruments per member, individual ones marked as inactive — that records what somebody can play without it counting as a current part. Club functions now know sub-functions, newly including music archivist and instrument archivist. The section leader has become an axis of its own with terms of office.
• Subgroups: Youth band, wind ensemble or the drum major team can be created under Members — with an abbreviation and a colour — and members assigned to them, including those without a user account. An appointment can then invite one or several groups specifically, the appointment list can be filtered by them, and the line-up counts against their roster.
• Appointments: The club now maintains the appointment types itself, with colour and symbol. A decline can be required to come with a reason; a word like “ill” is enough, pointless entries are rejected. New are reminders in the calendar subscription and an analysis of the response behaviour. Response rate and section breakdown now count against those invited instead of the whole club, and the home screen only shows appointments that concern you.
• Tasks: Besides people and club functions, tasks can now also be assigned to a section. Whoever changes section is responsible for its running tasks from then on.
• Minutes: Meeting minutes can be searched in full text, and they are sent either to a named selection, to a section or to everyone.
• Cash book: Whoever orders something for the club uploads the incoming invoice themselves — a photo from the phone is enough. The treasurer works through the receipt basket, attaches a receipt to a booking or creates one from it straight away. Bookings can also be assigned to an event, so the result per festival is settled without any side calculation.
• Patrons: Billing details can be stored on a patron — company name, VAT ID, a different billing address, payment method and SEPA mandate. Every open contribution can become an invoice from there.
• Festivals: The new schedule shows the helper roster as a calendar — time running vertically, areas as columns. People can be dragged in or tapped, the duration moved at the block edges. Double assignments are allowed and are only reported: whether they are a mistake or intentional is for the festival management to know.
• Uniforms: Stock items with a current and a target level, handing out to members and a notice to the uniform officers when something runs low. Every member sees what has been handed out to them.
• Instruments: Servicing, repairs and purchases are recorded per instrument — with date, workshop, cost and the total spent so far.
• Managing the club: New members can be brought in with an invitation link (valid for 14 days, revocable at any time), and club admins can trigger a password reset — exactly the mail you would get yourself via “forgot password”. Changing your own e-mail address now needs a confirmation via the new address.
• Notifications now also arrive by e-mail — switched on by default, and they can be unsubscribed per topic and per channel. All mails of the system have been redesigned in the process.
• Club roles really take effect: What a role is not allowed to do used to be hidden in the interface only and is now checked when saving as well. Event quotas count uniformly per calendar year, which is now stated in the subscription area.
• Fixed: Reminders for appointments and tasks were not sent at all, and recurring appointments were not created. Posting a bank statement line failed with an error. In the player the part selection had no effect, and members were missing “play”, “preview” and “save offline”. Handwritten strokes turned into closed loops when printing, burned-in notes never made it onto paper, and with other paper sizes the preview pointed at the wrong sheet. Drag-to-sort did not work on the phone. Plus many smaller display glitches.

• Home screen widgets: See what is coming up straight from the home screen — new widgets for the next appointment, the next three appointments and open tasks (overdue ones highlighted). Every row can be tapped and opens the matching entry. On your phone, not in the browser.
• Notifications with direct actions: An appointment notification now lets you accept or decline right away, and a task can be marked as done — without opening the app. Notifications are sorted by topic (appointments, tasks, minutes, joins, assignments, billing), so what reaches you can be set separately per area.
• Clearer appointments: The appointment list shows the WHEN in large type, your own status in the avatar and a bar for the overall response. The detail page has been redesigned, accepting and declining feel instant. New is the “Unanswered” filter for your own open replies. Attendance can now also be recorded for members without a user account.
• Clearer tasks: The task list shows the date in large type and highlights overdue items in red; the detail page follows the appointment style.
• Forms rethought: Required fields are marked, errors appear right at the affected field, and the save bar floats visibly at the bottom edge. Save only becomes active once the form is complete — so it is clear at a glance what is still missing.
• Address suggestions: When entering an address (e.g. for the club or for members), the app suggests matching addresses instead of you typing everything by hand.
• Understandable error messages: Instead of technical texts you now get clear messages that say what to do.
• Calmer loading: Content builds up area by area instead of blocking the whole page with a spinner — the app feels faster and calmer.
• Extended trash: Besides further entries, accidentally deleted members, finance entries and minutes can now be restored as well.
• An easier start: New clubs get a “First steps” checklist, empty areas show a clear next step, and a discovery search helps to find features.
• Instruments with more details: New fields for type and policy number as well as photos that can be taken or uploaded directly in the app.
• Many further improvements: Parts and sections appear everywhere in orchestral order, the sidebar can be collapsed, all countries can be selected for the club address, the date picker is easier to handle, swipe gestures respond more reliably, large text is no longer cut off, notice messages are calmer, and the status bar follows the light or dark theme.
• Fixes: Sheet music saves reliably again, menus refresh immediately after leaving a club, deleting a club works again, and appointments that are already past no longer accept late replies. (Club bookkeeping is part of higher plans.)

• Changes appear live: As long as the app is open, new permissions, changed roles as well as new or edited entries arrive almost in real time — without restarting the app. New clubs, joins and leaves are applied immediately too, instead of only after a restart.
• Dark mode readable throughout: Colours, icons and labels are now clearly legible everywhere in the dark theme, and switching between light and dark takes effect at once.
• New “reduce motion” setting: The playful animations can be switched off in the settings (Appearance) — the app also follows the device system setting.
• Room occupancy with appointments & filters: Room occupancy now also shows appointments with an assigned room, so it is always visible when and why a room is taken. New are the period tabs (Upcoming/Past/All, default “Upcoming”) and a room filter. Members with the room booking permission can now create bookings themselves as well.
• Comments on events: The organiser team (event management and board) can add comments and notes to an event — for details that only come up during planning. Ordinary members do not see them.
• Cash book — opening balance: When creating or editing an account, the opening balance can be entered directly per fiscal year. That makes it easy to move an existing account into the app.
• Shareable web links: Many areas (events, cash book, uniforms and others) now have their own address in the browser — pages survive a reload and can be shared as a link.
• Fixes: Adding helpers no longer causes an error, the bank import posts reliably again, the quick search now respects the member permissions, and signing in with Google/Apple works again in the browser. (Club bookkeeping and event planning are part of higher plans.)

• Club bookkeeping (cash book): A complete cash book feature for the club finances — with a journal, several accounts, transfers between accounts, cash count, budget planning and standing orders. Receipt numbers are assigned automatically per account and fiscal year (format YYYY-NNNN, restarting every year), and the default categories follow a typical club cash book.
• Receipts & bank statements: Receipts can be attached directly by photo or scan, right when a booking is created. Bank transactions can be imported as a CAMT file and assigned to the matching account. When posting something as “paid”, the app asks for the payment account and the payment method.
• Membership fees: Fees can be charged to a specific group (e.g. patrons or members), and open fees can be discarded again if needed.
• Rental fees & invoices: Rental fees can be set per instrument on loan and adjusted individually. The new invoicing feature creates legally compliant PDF invoices; the invoice recipient may differ from the musician, and cancelled invoices can be deleted.
• PDF exports: Assets and budget can be exported as a PDF. The PDF exports of the event planning have been redesigned with club and SinfoniaOne branding.
• More protection against mistakes: Closing a fiscal year now asks for confirmation, and confirmations appear as a clean window inside the app instead of a browser prompt.
• Further improvements: Past appointments are now shown newest first, the role permission picker shows readable section titles, and lists have more fitting icons. (Club bookkeeping and event planning are part of higher plans.)

• Planning festivals & events: A complete feature to organise a festival from the first plan to the final calculation — with areas (e.g. bar, kitchen, cash desk), a product catalogue including deposits and crates, suppliers as well as income and expenses per area. The cash count compares target and actual, and a review gives recommendations for next time.
• Helper & duty roster: Plan shifts per area, advertise open shifts and let helpers take them on themselves. Assigned helpers with an app account are notified automatically by push.
• PDF exports for the festival: Final calculation, shopping list and duty roster as a clear PDF — ideal for printing and passing on. A new festival can be copied from the last one with a single tap.
• Clear roles & permissions: A dedicated event management, plus area leads who manage their own area independently. Finances are only visible to the roles authorised for them. (Event planning is part of higher plans.)
• Meeting minutes together in real time: Several secretaries edit the same minutes at the same time — with live cursors and names, much like in familiar document editors. Full-screen mode now also works reliably in the browser.
• More in the sheet music annotations: New music stickers (symbols such as accidentals and articulation), shape tools for crescendo, decrescendo, slurs and lines as well as an adjustable eraser. The size is remembered per tool, page turning is smoother, and the control bars fade in and out gently.
• Notes now in the setlist player too: Notes were not available in the setlist player until now — now they are, with clean original pages and no “copy” watermark.
• Change your password in the app: The password can now be changed directly in your profile.
• Further fixes: Correct German label for the arranger field, comma as the decimal separator for amounts and correctly formatted quantities.

• Billing & invoices: Invoices can now be viewed and downloaded as a PDF — in the new “Billing” area (subscription & usage as well as invoices). Open payments come with clear notices and reminders.
• Updated terms of use: Revised, versioned terms with consent. If the terms change, you are asked to agree once again.
• Meeting minutes: The PDF export works again. The board gets read access by default, and the permissions for minutes can be granted conveniently in the role editor.
• More reliable sheet music upload: Large sheet music PDFs no longer break off, individual parts can be uploaded in the browser as well, and the quick upload saves more reliably.
• Only active members to choose from: Attendance and reply lists (meeting minutes, appointments) now only show active members.
• Time picker in the browser: Picking a time in date fields now works reliably in the browser.
• Faster lists: The sheet music archive, member lists and more load noticeably faster and in full.
• Further fixes: Swipe actions no longer open the detail page by accident. Changes are logged for better traceability.
